You may decide that you want to create an Enduring Power of Attorney which is a document whereby you appoint a person or person to look after your finances and assist with your healthcare decisions should you become
unable to make them for yourself.

When someone passes away you can contact us to discuss what you might need to do next and we can help with guiding you through the Probate process whether there is a Will in place or not. This can be an emotional time and Catriona ensures that her clients are comfortable and ready to progress matters at their own pace and that they fully understand what is happening.

Unfortunately sometimes Probates do not proceed smoothly and Catriona can assist in cases where the Executor is not acting or where S117 claims need to be lodged or defended. (Claims lodged where children not provided for sufficiently in a parents estate) or where the rights of a spouse or cohabitee need to protected.
